Abante Service Caravan goes to Trinidad

The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), led by Governor Aris Aumentado, offered various services to the residents of Barangay San Isidro, Barangay Banlasan, and the host Barangay Kauswagan in Trinidad during the Abante Service Caravan on July 4, 2023.

1,300 beneficiaries received food packs from the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (OPSWD) along with non-food items and cash aid worth P10,000 for the fire victims.

The Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPV) conducted milk feeding while the Education Center (EDCenter) distributed school supplies. The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) distributed seeds and seedlings, while the Bohol Employment and Placement Office – Public Employment Service Office (BEPO-PESO) offered their job-related services.

The Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) actively informed residents of the benefits of joining associations and cooperatives.

The Medical Outreach Unit (MOU) served a total of 510 beneficiaries in medical, dental, and circumcision/tuli services from Dr. Patricia Suson, Dr. Sugarhaye Sajol, MHO Trinidad Dr. Nova Evangelista, ROD Talibon Hospital Dr. Sumatra, ROD Inabanga Hospital Dr. Dulce Budiongan, COH Pitogo Hospital Dr. Quinna Barba, and PHO Dental Team Head Dr. Felino Columnas.

The P520,000 in financial assistance was handed over for the construction of Barangay Kauswagan’s daycare center and the health center’s perimeter.

Gov. Aumentado also turned over the sand and gravel to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Trinidad, amounting to P85,500 and P36,000 for Barangay Banlasan and P54,000 for Barangay Kauswagan, with Trinidad Mayor Roberto Cajes, San Isidro Barangay Captain Elmer Gabica, Banlasan Barangay Captain Vicente Luminarias, Kauswagan Barangay Captain Filadelfo Tabada, and Executive Assistant Bebot Sumampong.

The Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC), together with the 47th Infantry Battalion, offered free haircuts, while the Local Government Affairs (LGA), organized the overall event. (PiMO/JSS)
