DA, PGBh held an orientation on PAFES preparations

The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), headed by Gov. Aris Aumentado, resume discussion with the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office VII (DA-RFO VII) on the implementation of Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Systems (PAFES) on June 28, 2023, at the Provincial Administrator’s Office, Capitol.

The meeting is an orientation for Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) prime movers for PAFES, focusing on the 2023 Program, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) for the program’s implementation in Bohol.

Currently, the province is in step 4 of establishing PAFES after the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on May 11, 2023, which corroborates the program partners.

DA-RFO VII Executive Director Angel Enriquez, Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, and Provincial Agriculturist Liza Quirog were present during the meeting, along with officials from various regional and provincial offices and other government agencies.
