The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), headed by Governor Aris Aumentado, delivered financial assistance to seven Jagna barangays on June 28, 2023.
The funds are from the offices of Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite and Third District Board Members Tita Baja, Greg Jala, Elpidio Bonita, Nathaniel Binlod, and ex-officio, SK Federated President Christian Bolos III.
The following beneficiary barangays are:
Barangay Cantagay, Jagna – P112,000 for the foundation day activities.
Barangay Pangdan, Jagna – P105,000 for the foundation day activities.
Barangay Bunga Ilaya, Jagna – P100,000 for the invitational basketball tournament during the barangay day celebration held last May.
Barangay Kinagabaan, Jagna – P100,000 for the May 2023 Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Basketball League and other sports events.
Barangay Laca, Jagna – P47,000 for the Inter-Barangay Basketball and Volleyball League held on May 16-18, 2023.
Barangay Bunga Mar, Jagna – P35,000 for the procurement of a laptop and printer intended for the Barangay Nutrition Center.
Barangay Balili, Jagna – P10,000 for the barangay’s line canal situated in Purok 3.
Barangay officials were reminded to immediately liquidate the assistance received to further secure the P200,000 fund for priority projects.
