BOHOL AFTER TYPHOON ODETTE

On December 16, 2021, Typhoon Odette wreaked havoc in Bohol, bringing with it torrential rains, violent winds, and storm surges that completely destroyed 80,000 homes while some 200,000 homes were partially damaged. The agricultural sector, one of the strongest economic drivers in the province, sustained damage of about 3.1 billion pesos. The Provincial Government continues its recovery and rehabilitation efforts, especially in the hard-hit areas of Bohol.
