The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, conducted an Animal Clinic and Techno Updating activity on February 19, 2026, in Purok 2 and Purok 3, Barangay Kagawasan, Sagbayan.
Through the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPV), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Sagbayan and allied agencies, the initiative aimed to strengthen livestock production by delivering essential veterinary services and enhancing farmers’ technical knowledge.
A total of 32 farmers participated in the activity, receiving updated information on Artificial Insemination (A.I.) and Animal Conditioning to improve breeding efficiency, herd productivity, and animal health management.
Veterinary services were provided to 68 animals, composed of 42 cattle, 19 goats, and 7 carabaos. Of these, 66 animals underwent deworming, while all 68 were administered vitamin injections to boost resistance and overall health.

AI services were successfully performed on two animals.
The activity was carried out by OPV technicians and staff in coordination with the LGU of Sagbayan and partner agencies, bringing veterinary services closer to farming communities.
Through sustained collaboration, the Capitol continues to improve livestock genetic quality, enhance farm productivity, and expand livelihood opportunities in Sagbayan.
This initiative supports the Provincial Government’s Strategic Change Agenda, particularly in advancing Climate-Smart Agriculture and Fisheries across Bohol, a UNESCO Global Geopark. (𝐏𝐈𝐌𝐎/𝐉𝐅𝐏)
