Under the leadership of Provincial Director Police Colonel Patricio C. Degay Jr. of the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO), authorities carried out multiple operations targeting illegal drugs, illegal gambling, loose firearms, and wanted persons, resulting in significant arrests and seizures.

Police operations against illegal drugs led to the arrest of three suspects and the confiscation of approximately 100.25 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱681,700.00.

In a separate campaign against illegal gambling, six operations resulted in the arrest of 18 individuals and the recovery of ₱2,938.00 in bet money. Four cases have already been filed in court.

Meanwhile, law enforcement operations resulted in the arrest of 17 wanted individuals during the week-long campaign, including eight classified as Most Wanted Persons and nine identified as Other Wanted Persons.

Police Colonel Degay Jr. attributed the successful operations to the strong coordination among police units and the active support of the community.

He emphasized that the BPPO remains committed to sustaining its intensified law enforcement efforts to ensure peace, safety, and order across the province of Bohol.

The BPPO also recognized the continued support of the Provincial Government of Bohol, under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado, in strengthening peace and order initiatives and sustaining province-wide security programs that further reinforce the stability and safety across the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark for all.
