The weekly Mobile Franchising services of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Region 7 have officially begun at the Provincial Capitol, making essential transport-related transactions more accessible to Boholanos.
This initiative is part of the board’s ongoing efforts to bring government services closer to the people and support the province’s growing transport sector.
The program officially kicked off on February 13, 2026, through the partnership between LTFRB-7 and the Provincial Government of Bohol, led by Erico Aristotle Aumentado.
By holding the mobile desk at the Capitol lobby, the initiative provides a convenient location for drivers, operators, and transport stakeholders who would otherwise need to travel to regional offices outside the province.
The mobile services are scheduled every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering a consistent and reliable time for clients to access government assistance.
Available services include franchising consultation and information, confirmation of registration of franchised units, processing of new applications, and requests for extensions.
Aligned with the Strategic Governance Roadmap, these services are designed to streamline government processes, reduce travel time, and provide timely assistance to transport operators across Bohol.
The regular deployment of the mobile desk was first announced by LTFRB-7 Officer-in-Charge, Regional Director Eugenio Ibo Jr., during a courtesy visit to the governor on January 27, 2026, accompanied by LTFRB-7 representative Victor Cose.
With the weekly Mobile Franchising now in place, the provincial government continues to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and responsiveness in public service delivery, while reinforcing Bohol’s development path as a Bohol UNESCO Global Geopark.
By bringing services directly to the people, the initiative strengthens citizen engagement and ensures that government assistance reaches every corner of the province. (𝐏𝐈𝐌𝐎/𝐌𝐀𝐏𝐈)
