The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado, continues to strengthen institutional capacity by equipping its employees with essential knowledge on government procurement in the age of digitalization during a learning session held on February 4, 2026, at the New Capitol’s CPG Hall.
In line with the PGBh’s intensified rollout of priority programs, projects, and activities this year, the initiative was organized to ensure that personnel are well-versed in government procurement processes, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
The session supports the Capitol’s commitment to efficient, transparent, and accountable public service delivery, particularly as operations increasingly integrate digital systems and platforms.
The activity was designed to enhance the awareness and competencies of designated focal persons from various sections and units, emphasizing the critical importance of documentary compliance, systematic tracking, and the minimization of human errors.

Through strengthened technical understanding, the PGBh aims to further improve inter-departmental coordination, streamline workflows, and promote more responsive and compliant procurement practices.
Discussions during the session covered core procurement concepts presented through engaging and interactive formats, including a reorientation on the pre-audit action slip and the introduction of relevant technical guidelines to reinforce both procedural accuracy and practical application.
This capacity-building effort underscores the Capitol’s ongoing drive to modernize internal systems and empower its workforce, in line with the Capitol’s Strategic Change Agenda—advancing Governance and Service Delivery Excellence to ensure efficient, transparent, and people-centered public service across the province.
