The Bohol Provincial Motor Pool has released its accomplishment report for November to December 2025, underscoring its steady role in keeping government services moving across the province.
Tasked with providing mobility and logistical support to various provincial offices, the Bohol Provincial Motor Pool Office remains a cornerstone of government operations.
Its fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment supports a wide range of activities, from routine administrative work to large-scale infrastructure projects and emergency response during critical situations.
The report shows that heavy equipment under the Motor Pool’s management logged a total of 6,476 utilization hours during the two-month period. This level of use translated to a monetized value of Php 4,389,577.51. In addition, the office generated Php 395,990 in revenue through equipment rentals with official receipts, bringing the combined total revenue and monetary value to Php 4,785,567.51.
These figures reflect both the high demand for provincial equipment and the careful management of public assets. The Motor Pool oversees a diverse inventory, ranging from light utility vehicles to heavy machinery such as dump trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and graders—equipment that is essential to the timely implementation of infrastructure projects and the uninterrupted delivery of public services.
Keeping this fleet in serviceable condition is the responsibility of the Motor Pool’s Repair Bay, which functions as the hub for all repair and maintenance activities. From November to December alone, the Repair Bay facilitated 136 repairs on both light and heavy equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring readiness for deployment across the province.
The period also saw the completion of several facility improvement projects at the Bohol Provincial Motor Pool Office.
These included the renovation and improvement of the Repair Bay Building, the construction of a Motorcycle Parking Shed, and the development of diagonal parking spaces within the compound—projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and overall operations.
The accomplishments of the Provincial Motor Pool are aligned with the broader strategic governance agenda of the Provincial Government, which seeks to promote transparent, accountable, and agile local governance systems.
As Bohol continues to strengthen its identity as the Philippines’ first UNESCO Global Geopark, the Provincial Government, under Gov. Aris Aumentado, continues to manage government resources and support services in driving effective public service delivery and sustainable development throughout the province. (PIMO/MAPI)
