Multi-Hazard Areas/Profile (PhiVolcs)

Data on geo-hazards in the province of Bohol generated in 2007 by a composite team from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PhiVolcs), and Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in coordination with the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO). Provides information on different type of hazards (ground shaking, earthquake-induced landslide, rain-induced landslide, liquefaction, tsunami and storm surge) and the corresponding location and areas affected (in hectares) at the provincial, municipal/city and barangay levels including the susceptibility or vulnerability (high, moderate, low) of these areas. Useful in land use planning, emergency response and mitigation to ensure local government units' readiness to cope with disasters. Available at the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) in PDF.
