Provincial Organic Agriculture (Bohol GREENLIFE) Ordinance (Provincial Ordinance No. 2011-019)

The Bohol Organic Agriculture Ordinance--also known as the Bohol GREENLIFE (Growing in Rhythm with Ecologically Vibrant Economy, Nourished by Life-Centered, Integral Farmlands and Ecosystems) Ordinance (Provincial Ordinance No. 2011-019) institutionalizes the Bohol Organic Agriculture Program with fund appropriation to support environment-friendly and ecologically-sound agriculture. Provides a framework on organic agriculture based on four principles: health, ecology, fairness and care. Includes provisions in five components: Production Enhancement, Research and Development, Marketing Development, Policy Advocacy/Stakeholders Development, and Organic Certification System.
